The usual triennial staging of the Conference of the West Indies Sugar Technologists (WIST), organised under the auspices of the Sugar Association of the Caribbean (SAC), was disrupted by the hosting of World Cup Cricket by the West Indies in 2007 as it was feared that passion for the game might have distracted from the Conference. Now the XXIX Conference is scheduled as follows:

This is an all-inclusive resort which offers all meals, snacks and beverages at the attractive rates of: US$135/room per night, single occupancy and $180/room/night, double occupancy.
REGISTRATION FEE
A Registration Fee of US$100 entitles delegates to the Proceedings, full participation in the Conference including the field/factory tours, banquets and entertainment that may be provided.
